YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg NEO Part I: Child Abuse Prevention

  1. Welcome Screen: Read message at bottom right and click “Continue”

  2. Intro Video: Must watch intro video and then listen to narration about the employee handbook before the next button is enabled in the footer.

  3. Welcome: User must listen to audio introduction and then watch a video before the next button is enabled in the footer.

  4. Course Objectives: User must listen to audio before the next button is enabled in the footer.

  5. Section 1 Intro: User must listen to narration before the next button is enabled in the footer.

  6. Stats: User must listen to audio narration of facts before the next button is enabled in the footer.

  7. Types of Abuse: User must click on each type of abuse to view its definition. Once they view the first three then they will be prompted to perform a matching exercise. Upon completing the exercise a popup appears with a button to download a PDF on Indicators of Child Abuse and the next button becomes enabled.

  8. Family Characteristics: User must click on each image. After each description has been viewed a checkmark will appear on the image. Once the user has viewed all of the descriptions the next button will become enabled.

  9. Profiles of Abusers: After intro audio is read the user must complete an exercise. After completing the exercise the next button will become enabled.

  10. Strategies of Child Abusers: After the intro audio is read, the user must click on each photo and watch each scenario/narration. Once each “scenario” has played the photo will become greyed out, indicating that the user has already viewed this scenario. The next page button will become enabled after all 4 have been viewed.

  11. Child on Child Abuse: The user must answer a T/F question. When the answer is displayed a button will appear. The user must click on the “Considerations of child-on-child abuse” button. The user will be prompted to click on all 8 “considerations” buttons. As the user clicks on each button a checkmark will appear on the button, indicating that the user has viewed this button. Once all 8 have been view the next page button will become enabled.

  12. Bullying Prevention and Response: After the audio narration plays the user will be prompted to click on 5 buttons about bullying to the left. After the user has clicked on each button and listened to the narration and followed any instructions, a checkmark will appear on each button. Once all 5 buttons have a checkmark showing then the next page button will become enabled.

  13. Normal Sexual Behavior: After the introduction audio the user must click on each age group and complete the exercises for each group. Once each exercise has been completed the next page button will become enabled.

  14. Section 2 Intro: Next page button will become enabled after the audio has played.

  15. Program and Staffing Issues: The user must watch a video on restroom policies. The user will also be prompted to download the restroom policy file. After viewing the video the user will be prompted to click on 6 buttons on the right side of the page. As each button is clicked a checkmark will appear on the button, indicating that the information has been seen by the user. Once all 6 checkmarks appear the next page button will become enabled.

  16. Appropriate Touching Part 1: After the intro audio is read, the user will be prompted to click the “begin button” to watch a scenario. The user must follow the onscreen instructions in order to advance. After rule #5, the next page button will become enabled OR the user may click on the “Done” button, which will also redirect them to the next slide.

  17. Appropriate Touching Part 2: After the audio introduction the user will need to click on the three images. The user will need to follow the instructions for each topic. Once each topic has been viewed the next page button will become enabled.

  18. Showing Affection: User must listen to the introduction audio then click on the 5 guideline buttons. The user must follow any onscreen instructions for each guideline and once completed a checkmark will appear on the button. Once each button has a checkmark, the next page button will become enabled.

  19. Code of Conduct: Introduction audio will be read and the user will be prompted to download a pdf and then click “continue” to move on. The user must then click on each image to learn more. Once the user closes the popup, the image will be replaced by a colored box, indicating that the user has read the information. Note that some of the popups have additional links that the user must click on to download a PDF file. The user must click on these links in order to fulfill all of the requirements. Once all boxes have been view the next page button will become enabled.

  20. Section 3 Intro: After the introduction audio is read the user will be prompted to click the next page button.

  21. How to Respond: The user must watch a video. The user must follow all onscreen instructions throughout the video. Once completed, the next page button will become enabled.

  22. Common Ways Kids Disclose: After the introduction audio the user is prompted to click on the three buttons on the right side of the screen. The user must follow all onscreen instructions for each scenario. Once they have watched a scenarios a checkmark will appear on the button. Once all buttons have a checkmark then the next page button will become enabled.

  23. Making the Report: After listening to the initial audio, the user must play a video. After the video finished playing the next page button will become enabled.

  24. Signature Page: The user must fill out the Training Signature Form. Once completed they must click the next page button.

  25. Final thoughts: The audio instructions the user to begin part II. The user must click on the part II link located in the directory in the margin on the left side of the screen.

  1. Welcome: Must listen to audio before next is enabled in the footer.

  2. Course Objectives: User must listen to audio before next is enabled in the footer.

  3. Employee Safety: After the introduction audio the user is prompted to click on the three buttons located on the left side of the screen. As the user clicks on each button they must follow all onscreen instructions. As they complete all instructions a checkmark will appear on the button. Once all three checkmarks appear then the next page button will become enabled.

  4. Accidents and Injuries: User must listen to the audio introduction and then click on the “5 steps” buttons. As each step is clicked on and the audio is read, a checkmark will appear on each step. After each step has a checkmark, the next page button will become enabled.

  5. Bloodborne Pathogens: After the intro audio is read the user must click on the 4 buttons located on the left side of the screen and complete all on-screen instructions. After the appropriate actions have been completed, a checkmark will appear on the buttons. Once all 4 buttons have a checkmark then the next page button will become enabled.

  6. BBP Quiz: The user must answer the 10 questions before the next page button becomes enabled.

  7. Hazard Communication and SDS: The user must click on all of the buttons to the left and follow any onscreen instructions. Once all of the buttons have a checkmark on them then the next page button will become enabled.

  8. Hazard Communications Quiz: The user must answer the 10 questions before the next page button becomes enabled.

  9. Signature Page: The user must fill out the form and submit the form. Then they can click on the next page button to continue.

  10. Next Steps: The user is instructed to continue on with Part III –Appreciating differences.

  1. Welcome: Must listen to audio before next is enabled in the footer.

  2. Embarking on Diversity: User must listen to audio before next is enabled in the footer.

  3. Imagine For a Moment: User must listen and watch presentation before next is enabled in the footer.

  4. Diversity Equals Variety: After the initial audio, the user will be prompted to click on the audio icon to hear a narrated quote. Once that quote plays the must click the close button to enable the next page button in the footer.

  5. What is Diversity: After the intro audio is read the user must click on all three buttons to the left. They must listen to each audio completely in each section before a checkmark appears. Once a checkmark appears on each button the next page button will be active in the footer.

  6. Diversity Assessment: User must answer each question and see their result before moving on to the next question. After the 3rd question has been submitted the next button will be enabled.

  7. Diversity Consciousness: User must listen to the opening audio and then click on the 4 buttons to the left. The user must listen to each narration completely until a check appears next to the button. Once all four checkmarks are visible another audio section will be read then the next page button will become enabled in the footer.

  8. Diversity is Multidimensional: The user must listen to the opening audio. After that 2 buttons will appear for Internal and External dimensions. When the user clicks on internal dimensions, they will listen to a narration that highlights sections of the wheel. After the internal narration is read, the user is instructed to move their cursor over each section to see additional information. The checkmark will NOT appear unless the user moves their cursor over all of the internal sections. When the user clicks on external dimensions they must listen to the audio. Once the audio is complete a checkmark will appear for the external dimensions. Once both checkmarks have appeared then the next button will become enabled in the footer.

  9. Culture: After the first paragraph is read, the user will be instructed to move their cursor over the word “Attributes.” This will open up a popup window with a definition and start the next audio clip. After the second audio clip is read the user is asked to move their cursor over “Ethnocentrism.” Once this popup appears then the next button will become enabled in the footer.

  10. Connect with Conversation: User must listen to the audio narration. After the narration is complete they must click on the two example buttons. Once the two buttons have been clicked the next page button will become enabled in the footer.

  11. Diversity Assessment pt2: User must answer the 4 questions. After the 4th question has been answered the next button will become enabled in the footer.

  12. Your Journey Continues: During the narration the user is instructed to download an attachment. After the narration is completed, the user can advance by clicking either the “Begin Section II” button or the next page button in the footer.

  13. Harassment Awareness and Prevention: User must listen to the audio before the next button is enabled.

  14. Objectives: The user must listen to audio. Next page button will become enabled after narration.

  15. What is Harassment: The user must listen to intro narration then the three buttons will appear on the left. When they click on “Physical Harassment” and “Verbal Harassment” they just need to listen to the audio before the checkmark appears. When they click on “Sexual Harassment” the user will listen to the narration and then be prompted to click on the “Examples” button. After the examples narration is read then a “Harassment is Discrimination” button will appear under the main box. The user must click on this to continue. This will bring them to a page with some audio narration. The user will be instructed to click on the four images. Clicking on the images will bring up a description and a checkmark. Once all 4 images have been clicked then the next page button will become enabled in the footer. The user will also be told to download the Y’s policy on harassment.

  16. Unlawful Harassment: After the initial audio is narrated, the user will be prompted to click on the numbered tabs to the left. The user must listen to the narrations and follow any instructions before a checkmark appears next to the numbered tab. Once each tab has a checkmark visible then the next page button will become enabled in the footer.

  17. Harassment vs Bullying: The user will listen to the intro narration and then be instructed to click on the two images on screen. Once they click on the two images they must listen to each narration. Once they do that then a new link labeled “What is Workplace Bullying” will appear. The user must click on that text to initiate the next audio file. Once that is complete the next page button will become enabled in the footer.

  18. Harassment Assessment: User must answer the 2 questions. After the 2nd question has been answered the next button will become enabled in the footer.

  19. Preventing Harassment in the Workplace: The user must listen to the entire audio before the next page button becomes enabled in the footer.

  20. Definitions of Harassment: After the initial audio is read the user will be prompted to click on the two buttons on the left. Once they have listened to the audio for both buttons a checkmark will appear next to each button and then the next page button will become enabled in the footer.

  21. Free Speech: The user will watch/listen to the opening narration and then see a scenario play out. After the scenario is done and the audio is read, 2 questions will appear and the user must answer them. After submitting the second answer the next page button will become enabled in the footer.

  22. What Can You Do: The user must listen to the audio. Once completed, a “You are Protected” button will appear. The user must click on this button to hear more audio and see visual information. Once the audio is complete, the user must close the popup window by clicking on the “x” and this will enable the next page button in the footer.

  23. Supervisor Responsibilities: The user must listen to the audio and then will be instructed to click on the numbered boxes. Once they click on all five buttons the next page button will become enabled in the footer.

  24. Investigations: User must listen to audio. Once completed the next page button will become enabled in the footer.

  25. Harassment Assessment pt2: The user must answer all 5 questions. After submitting their answer on the 5th question the next page button will become enabled in the footer.

  26. Signature Form: The user must fill in the requested information and then hit submit. This will enable the next page button in the footer.

  27. Section Complete: The user must listen to the audio and then click on the “Print Certificate” button to print their certificate. Then they can log out of the course.
