To create a new tag a Site Admin must first go to Admin Tools and then go down to the Manage Training section.

From the administrative page choose "Create Tags" to create a new Tag.


Following this you must then enter a title for the Tag. You may optionally add an image and a description that will be displayed to a learner if they click on the Tag detail page from a Learning Path. Finally, you can select individual training that can be marked off as a Tag. Training types that can be associated with a tag include:

  • Courses
  • Assessments
  • Events
  • Label
  • Surveys
  • Topics
  • Discussions
  • Resources

Once a Tag has been created, the administrative page for Events, Labels, Surveys, Topics, Discussions, and Resources let you select a Tag when administering the training.
