Integrating your UKG Pro environment with the CypherWorx LCMS allows for user management, making it simpler to manage your employees. This article outlines the steps required to set up the integration and important considerations before getting started.

What's Included?
This integration automatically creates user accounts based on a roster shared with us.
By default, we use the work email as the primary identifier. If your organization uses a different field (such as a personal email), please let us know so we can adjust accordingly.

How It Works?
We use Bindbee, an integration organization, to connect CypherWorx with your UKG Pro system. This integration enables secure, automated syncing of key employee data between platforms, saving time and reducing manual entry.
To get started, there are a few setup steps CypherWorx is required to complete first, followed by configuration on your side to complete the connection. This ensures your employee data is accurately and securely shared with the CypherWorx LMS.

Your Setup
Once CypherWorx has completed the necessary configuration on our end, you will need to complete some tasks on your end to finalize the integration.
Setup Link
1. We will provide you with a magic link to initiate the setup. This link will guide you through the required configurations within your UKG Pro site to complete the integration.
Click on the link we provide you. It will look similar to a URL as shown below:

Retrieving the UKG Pro Customer API Key
On this magic link page, you will need to provide a UKG Pro API Key for your environment.
2. Log into UKG Pro and search for Service Account Administration in the top right corner.
3. Copy the Customer API Key located under the header.
4. Paste the copied Customer API Key into Bindbee Magic Link.
Create a Service Account
5. Navigate to the Service Account Administration page and select + add in the top right corner.
6. Input the username and email of your UKG Pro Admin's account. Save this username for future use.
7. Scroll down to the Web Service section and enable the View Employee Person Details option.
8. Depending on the use case, add the necessary permissions. These may include Employee Pay Statement, Employee Employment Information, PTO Plan Integration, Company Configuration Integration, Payroll Integration, Personnel Integration, Employee Job History Details, and Employee Compensation Details.
9. Click on Save. A new password will appear. Store this password securely.
10. Enter the UKG Pro service account credentials into Bindbee Magic Link and click Submit. Use the username of your admin service user and the newly generated password.
11. In the search bar, look for Web Services.
12. Identify your subdomain from any of the URLs on this page. The subdomain is the text after https:// and before .ultipro. If the URL is https://service4.ultipro.com/XXXABCS.Login, then service4 is the subdomain.
Enter the UKG Web Services URL (Part 1) into the Bindbee Magic Link step.
13. Identify your top-level domain. For instance, if the URL is https://service4.ultipro.com/XXXABCS.Login, then the top-level domain is ultipro.com.
14. After completing these steps, the screen should say that the connection is established.
